Pink and purple light beams poured through a hole in the storm clouds as the sun set on the horizon. The entire scene only existing for less than a minute. The cold wind buffeting my face and shoulders as suddenly the world before me was set alight in the beautiful pink light of the sun. It was all I could do to compose the image and create it before the sun dipped back behind the clouds, lost for the rest of the day. When I remember adventures I have had, this one stands out as one of my favorites.
