The area around Bighorn Canyon National Conservation Area is rather unsuspecting for how truly stunning this canyon system is. With sheer, steep walls, a bright green river, and a plethora of diverse wildlife to observe, the entire area is absolutely enchanting. Such beautiful scenery already made this area magical, however it is also the location of one of the last herds of wild horses in the United States! Elusive and difficult to even see at times, these horses run abound in the surrounding hills and mountains.
