I stood where the waves met the shore and felt the ice cold water sink into my shoes. The sun burning brightly on the horizon turning everything a stunning shade of orange. It reminded me of fire, burning away all of the stress and worries I had been carrying. The ice cold water shocking me back to reality brought the realization that my woes were not such a heavy burden. I could live freely and enjoy my life while still accomplishing my goals and not being held down by expectations.
